Monear Shaer is a Palestinian-American filmmaker, impact organizer, and director dedicated to telling stories that challenge mainstream narratives with the purpose to reclaim the humanity of communities too often reduced to headlines and statistics.

As a Palestinian-American filmmaker, Monear brings a unique perspective to his work, drawing from his own lived experiences and family memories to tell stories that have been continually overlooked by mainstream media. His dedication to authenticity and storytelling has garnered immense transformations in his audiences, and he hopes to remain a bold and visionary voice in the struggles for liberation for all.

From Interstate 405 (I-405) North-bound

Drive north on I-405 toward Bothell.

Take Exit 23 for SR-522 West toward Bothell.

Once on SR-522 West (Bothell Way NE), after you pass under the I-405 interchange, stay to the right.

At the first traffic light, turn right onto Campus Way NE. This will lead you into the main campus.

Follow signs for parking (for example the South Parking Garage) and walk to your destination building (e.g., Discovery Hall).

From I-405 South-bound

Drive south on I-405 toward Bothell.

Take Exit 23B for SR-522 West toward Bothell.

On SR-522 West, stay to the right after the interchange, then turn right onto Campus Way NE at the first traffic light.

Follow signage into campus and choose a parking garage or lot that is convenient for your building.

From SR-522 West-bound (coming from the east)

Take SR-522 West toward Bothell. After passing under the I-405 interchange, stay to the right and turn right onto Campus Way NE at the first traffic light. Follow signs for parking (for example the South Parking Garage) and walk to your destination building (e.g., Discovery Hall).

From SR-522 East-bound (coming from Seattle side)

Take SR-522 East (Bothell Way NE) toward Bothell. As you approach the campus, turn left onto Campus Way NE. Follow signs for parking (for example the South Parking Garage) and walk to your destination building (e.g., Discovery Hall).

Two parking lots are marked for your convenience. The South Parking Garage is the first one you come across once you enter the campus on Campus Way NE. It is a covered garage. You can park and cross the street toward the plaza where Discovery Hall is located. Once you go through the glass doors, the hall would be right in front of you. Discovery 061
Should you choose the upper level parking lot, you would be entering the building from the top floor. Go through the glass doors all the way to the elevators which would be to your left. Take the elevator to the base floor, the door opens right across from the lecture all, Discovery 061.
