Our Programs

Together, we create a community for all.

Peyvand Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) seeks to create a virtual and in-person safe, supportive, community of diverse youth. We offer programs that support personal growth, community building creative self-expression, and civic engagement.

In addition to language courses in Persian, Dari and Kurdish, Peyvand collaborates with University of Washington Middle Eastern Languages and Civilizations to promote scholarship and thoughtful public discourse about all aspects of Middle East history and culture.

We support families by providing parenting workshops, presentations from school faculty and counselors, and opportunities for networking and community building through cultural events and activities.

Peyvand Artist Group (PAG) and Iran Film Initiative (IFI) are the programs within Peyvand built on the notion that art can inspire every person.
