About The Film:
Yalda یلدا - In modern day Iran, Maryam is sentenced to death after she accidentally kills her husband Nasser. She can only be saved if Nasser’s daughter forgives her on live television. The film offers a compelling and devastating look at a world where the ritual of forgiveness has been transformed into a reality television show.
