Through cooking, storytelling, and conversation, they’ll share the history and cultural meaning behind each dish while inviting guests to reflect, ask questions, and exchange food memories. Designed to be welcoming and intergenerational, this gathering celebrates how food connects communities across cultures.

Shri Repp is a Seattle-based culinary instructor, recipe developer, and founder of the IACP-nominated food blog Moon Rice. Her work explores South Indian cooking through culture, history, and approachable techniques, and has been featured in Bon Appétit, Food52, and Serious Eats.
Omid Roustaei is an Iranian-American cookbook author and culinary instructor born and raised in Tehran. With more than 25 years in the culinary world, he shares Persian cuisine through storytelling, cultural education, and community-centered cooking experiences.
